Last year in December, we did a food tour in NYC.

Last year in December, we did a food tour in NYC. And there we went to this amazing Vegan restaurant called Anixi @anixinyc.

They had some delicious dishes. We tried the following:
🔹Fire Roasted Eggplant with Za'atar Pita
🔹Crispy “Lamb” Cigars
🔹Wild Mushroom Kabob.
🔹Rose Malabi

The roasted eggplant was one of the best I have had in any Mediterranean restaurant. The cigars, you won't know that those were vegan 😀.
I had never tasted Mushroom like that before! It had a meaty bite and was delicious 😋
The dessert was not so great. It did not have enough rose flavour.

So here are my soft chewy lemon cookies dipped in white chocolate with hibiscus powder.

Its not heavy like chocolate but is well balanced with tangy flavor from lemon and sweetness from white chocolate.

It did take a while to make it but it absolutely transported me to my hometown ❤️
