Potager Restaurant

Inside Potager Restaurant

Potager means kitchen garden. Just like it’s name, the restaurant gets it’s produce from local farmers and they treat each of these ingredients with care. Located at 1109 Ogden St Denver Colorado 80218, they offer seasonal menu that is simple and delicious.

TIP: Finding parking might be difficult around that area. There is a small driveway behind the restaurant, that can be used to park your car. The staff can guide you as well.

Decor:

The ambience is this beautiful restaurant is rustic. The interior felt like a old ancient house, but don’t let that misguide you. The walls looked, as if, it has been drilled many times to hang pictures and wall decorations. And that added to its historic decor.

Food And Service:

We went to this restaurant on a Friday night after a long and delayed flight to Denver. We were tired and hungry. But all that went away, thanks to their service, that was amazing. The staff were welcoming in spite of the fact that we had reached just 30 minutes before their closing time.

As soon as we settled in, we quickly glanced through their menu, this is what we had:

    • Crab Cakes With Cucumber Corn Salsa – Beautifully cooked crabs with the lemony fresh salsa
    • Triple M Bar Lamb Hand Pie – This was very close to a taco and we liked it the best.
    • Twice Baked Parmesan Souffle – One of the popular dishes of this restaurant.
    • Dover Sole Fish With Cumin Chile Favored Curd And Veggies – Fish was their special of the day and it was cooked to perfection.
    • Creme Brulee – Though looked burnt, it tasted good.

It was so delicious that we went for seconds of some of dishes. Everything tasted great. Even though it had passed their closing time, the staff never rushed us. They were patient till we were finished. Overall we were very happy, not only with quality of food but also the quality of the service.

They gave us, a lasting good impression about Denver and its people.
